BATCO Foldable Batting Cages are Perfect for Shared Spaces

When coaches share indoor space they need equipment that can set up and break down quickly and be stored without taking up too much floor space. The BATCO Foldable Batting Cage takes up only two feet of floor space coming off the wall when folded into storage mode. It can quickly be brought to its full length in a matter of a few minutes and put back to storage size in the same amount of time.

Designed for Efficiency and Engineered to Last

The heavy-duty steel frames are engineered to hold up to rough outdoor environmental conditions year-round. The net is wide enough to accommodate up to four sets of players at the same time for a variety of hitting drills. If coaches want to maximize space they can add another set of four to the outside of the net ensuring more reps in less time during practice.

What advantages do BATCO Foldable Batting Cages have over conventional permanent batting cages?

The biggest advantage is the portability and storage. You can use your batting cage outdoors during good weather seasons and bring it into the gym during the winter and early Spring while not intruding on the space needed by other sports.

How long does it take to pull out or retract the cage?

The cage is easy to setup and retract. It usually takes 2 people about 10 minutes to setup or the entire team to do it in a few minutes. Here’s a video of the team collapsing the cage:

How long does it take to assemble the BATCO foldable batting cage the first time?

BatCo recommends planning on 2 people needing about 2h and then needing a 3rd to help stand it and anchor it off. Ideally, 3 people and 2 hours to get it to put together and then stand it up. The first arch always takes a while and then once you figure that out, just repeat until you’ve done them all. Sometimes it takes 45 minutes to do the first arch and then about 15 minutes for each after that.

How many people do you need to pull out the cage?

It usually takes 2 people about 10 minutes to setup, or a full team just a couple of minutes.

Do I need to move the cage when switching from a right to left-handed batter?

No, the cage is large enough so you’ll never have to adjust the cage when switching from right to left or left to right-handed batters.

How much does it weigh?

The 72′ cage weighs about 600 pounds and the 54′ cage weighs about 500 pounds.

How big is the BATCO Foldable Batting Cage when it’s collapsed?

Does it come with rubber feet for indoor use?

You need to make sure you select the correct variations before you add it to the cart, but yes there are variations that include the feet for indoor use.
